MHPS seek missing Manitoba woman Shanna Copenace
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat police say a missing Manitoba woman they had contact with in May could still be in our area.
According to the Medicine Hat Police Service, Shanna Copenace, 32, was reported missing by her family in late June. It is believed she is in the company of a male, Ronald Martin, and that they are travelling west toward Calgary. Members of the MHPS had brief contact with Shanna in Medicine Hat on May 18, and say there is a chance she may still be in the area.
Shanna is a resident of Swan Lake, Man. She is described as an Indigenous female, about five-foot-one with a slender build. She has long black hair that is often braided and sometimes dyed in various colours. Shanna occasionally wears glasses and has two distinctive tattoos: the name “Ronald” on the right side of her neck as well as a tribal tattoo on her right upper arm.
Police ask anyone with information that could assist in locating Shanna to contact MHPS at 403-529-8481.
