Bob Ridley named Honorary Parade Marshal

The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Parade returns this summer

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A favourite summer event in Medicine Hat is making a return following a two-year hiatus.

The Stampede Parade will roll through downtown the morning of July 28.

The themes for this year’s parade are “We Ride Again” and a “Tribute to our Frontline Workers.” Organizers hope to make this the biggest parade Medicine Hat has had in years.

The Honorary Parade Marshal is CHAT‘s very own Bob Ridley. The Stampede says “Mr. Ridley has been an un-official ambassador of Medicine Hat for over 5 decades and no one is more deserving of this honor than him.”

Entries into the parade can be found here at mhstampede.com and the deadline is July 22.
