Vaccine cards coming to Alberta, but won’t be mandatory
EDMONTON – Albertans will soon be able to print off a card to show they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
But province-wide rules requiring proof of vaccination to enter place such as restaurants or sports events remain off the table.
Alberta Health says residents will soon be able to print off a card-sized copy of their COVID shots to show to businesses requiring proof of vaccination.
Spokesperson Lisa Glover says she can’t yet give a timeline on when those cards will be ready.
