MEDICINE HAT — A major road in Medicine Hat will be closed for 4 weeks, starting next Thursday.
Canadian Pacific will begin remediation of an abandoned gas well, and for safety reasons, all lanes of traffic will be closed on South Railway Street, between Hill Road and 5th Street s.e.
That will mean more passenger traffic through the S.E. hill area, with heavy trucks detoured east along Maple and Allowance Avenues.
