COVID-19 update: Province confirms 351 new cases

EDMONTON. AB- There are 351 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed across the province today ( Sunday), bringing the total number of active cases to 6,242.

A total of 434 people are in hospital and 81 are in intensive care.

The province also recorded four deaths.

Over the past 24 hours, 8241 tests were completed. The provincial positivity rate stands at 4.3 per cent.

In Medicine Hat, there are 13 active cases of COVID-19. A total of 505 people have recovered from the virus, and 13 people have died.

In Cypress County, there are two active cases and 143 recoveries.

In Newell County, there are two active cases, 154 recoveries and two deaths.

The City of Brooks has four active cases, 1346 recoveries and 14 deaths attributed to the pandemic.

The Municipal District of Taber has four active cases, 322 recoveries and six deaths.

Lethbridge County has 14 active cases, 497 recoveries and seven deaths.

The City of Lethbridge has 175 active cases, 1617 recoveries and 13 deaths attributed to the pandemic.
