Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – March 20

Mar 20, 2020 | 12:01 PM

Mad Hatter

A true leader would worry about all needs not just their O&G friends. Things in the world also affect other sectors that could use a hand and some air time. But your right, lets again bail out an industry that has no qualms bailing out on us when the going is tough.

Mad Hatter

It’s unfortunate that I know I live beside a drug house. I’ve done my due diligence and have reported it to the police. Yet they tell me that there is nothing they can do. “Not enough traffic. Not consistent enough.” So here we are, watching the constant traffic coming and going. And knowing that nothing is going to change. I feel so much safer now!

Mad Hatter

To the person complaining about employees not giving enough notice to their employer when they’re sick. That submission sure didn’t age well.

Happy Hatter

All the boomers who’ve been saying healthcare workers deserve layoffs and wage cuts because the oilfield is a bust, are suddenly so silent. Maybe they’re now realizing their very own life could soon be at the mercy of these workers and the healthcare system they’ve been demanding we cut.

Mad Hatter

I’m sure I’m not going to be the only one ticked off the next little bit. People need to stop freaking out about this COVID19. We all already had it before christmas. Death rate is no different then other viruses. Those with weaker immune systems should be the ones staying home till this blows over. The rest of us need to work to pay bills because surprise they don’t stop in crisis. Ei doesn’t cover what paychecks do. Some of us scrape by as it is.

Mad Hatter

Celebrities posting about “staying safe” and “we’re all in this together” yeah? Want to hand out your money to us commoners? We can’t just STAY home for the masses protection. Bills don’t stop

Mad Hatter

While our governments are shutting schools and universities and declaring states of emergency, non essential businesses in Medicine Hat still remain open. While there is a worldwide pandemic and people are dying, do we really need craft supplies, window coverings and our nails done?

Happy Hatter

It’s been really great seeing several local businesses offering delivery and special shopping hours to people in the community.
