Motz on pandemic

Not the time for politics, says Motz, resources available

MEDICINE HAT – Medicine Hat’s MP says now is not the time for politics as members from all parties at all levels of government need to pull together.

“This whole pandemic and the impact it has on Canada is a non-partisan issue,” said Glen Motz, Medicine Hat-Cardson-Warner MP, Monday afternoon. “There are some things that could have been done differently – the critque of this will happen when this has passed.”

Motz says his office and website will offer advice and assistance to employers and employees looking for assistance in dealing with the fallout of layoffs and a steep decline in business.

However, he added more information will be available in the coming days regarding the federal government’s economic response to the pandemic and assistance programs available.
