Suspect arrested soon after break and enter

Noon hour break and enter followed by swift arrest

MEDICINE HAT — A 40 year old male is waiting for a bail hearing after he was charged with break, enter and theft.

He was arrested by city police yesterday afternoon, following a noon hour break in to a residence in the 200 block of 13th Street S.W.

The home owner was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect and patrol members in the area spotted the suspect in the 16 hundred block of Bomford Crescent S.W.

He tried to run but was quickly taken into custody.

A search of the man after his arrest revealed several items taken from the residence.
