Los Angeles FC re-signs veteran Canadian international defender Dejan Jakovic
Los Angeles FC has re-signed Canadian international Dejan Jakovic and fellow defender Jordan Harvey.
The MLS club had declined Jakovic’s contract option in November while Harvey’s deal was expiring.
“Jordan and Dejan have been consummate professionals since joining the club and we’re pleased to have re-signed both players,” John Thorrington, LAFC’s GM and executive vice-president of soccer operations, said in a statement. “They provide an invaluable veteran presence in the locker room, and their level of experience and dedication have been crucial to the team’s success the past two years.”
Harvey made US$165,000 last season while Jakovic earned $153,750.
