Major event announcement coming Wednesday afternoon

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Members of the Medicine Hat Sport and Event Council are making an announcement Wednesday afternoon of a “major event” coming to Medicine Hat next year.

Details about what the event is have not been revealed. The press conference takes place at 1:30 p.m. at the Canalta Centre.

Mayor Ted Clugston is scheduled to give remarks at the press conference, and will be joined by representatives from Tourism Medicine Hat and the Medicine Hat Accommodation Association during the press conference.
