Wind Warning issued for Medicine Hat area on Friday, gusts could reach 90 km/h

Large portions of southeast Alberta and southwest Saskatchewan are under a wind warning, as of Friday morning.

Damaging winds are expected in the Medicine Hat area.

Strong northwest winds, gusting up to 90 km/h, will develop Friday morning and diminish in the evening.

Environment Canada says local utility outages are possible, and driving conditions will likely be difficult, with high-sided vehicles pushed around by the wind.
