Medicine Hat City Council to hold organizational meeting and regular meeting Monday

Medicine Hat City Council will hold an organizational meeting on Monday at City Hall.

A schedule of council meetings for 2027 will be established.

Councillors will be appointed to boards, committees and commissions.

Upcoming appointments for Deputy Mayor and Acting Mayor will be made.

A regular council meeting will also take place.

The agenda will include a public hearing and expected decision on a proposed rezoning for 22 Sierra Green Southwest to allow Jayco Homes to build a 4-unit row house.

The City Manager Performance Evaluation Policy is also being considered for approval at the meeting.

It’s all underway in Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m.
