Update: Rainfall alert issued for Maple Creek, Cypress Hills area

A Yellow Warning for rainfall is in effect for the Maple Creek and Cypress Hills area in Southwest Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta as rain continues across parts of the region this morning.
Environment Canada says the rain will continue through Tuesday morning before tapering off through the day.
The alert covers the RM of Maple Creek, including Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park.
The weather agency warns that water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas, while visibility could be suddenly reduced at times as heavier rain moves through.
