A community food drive in Medicine Hat has collected 1,300 pounds of food and $896 in donations for the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub.
The Cram the Cruiser event was hosted by the Real Canadian Superstore and Medicine Hat Police Service in support of the local organization on Thursday.
The donations will help support local families and individuals who rely on access to food assistance.
The Root Cellar thanked everyone who stopped by the event, donated and helped fill the police cruiser with food.
