Roadwork to close Division Avenue, 12 Street N intersection in Medicine Hat next week

The intersection of Division Avenue N and 12 Street N in Medicine Hat will close on select days next week as part of the city’s annual roadway resurfacing program.

The city says catch basin work will require the intersection to close from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, July 27, and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 30. The intersection will remain open on Tuesday.

Detour signs will direct motorists around the work zone, while the area immediately surrounding the intersection will remain open to local traffic.

Residents in the area have been notified, and pedestrians will be directed around the closed crosswalks.
