Medicine Hat Police and Alberta Sheriffs to hold joint traffic check stops on July 30
Motorists in Medicine Hat can expect increased traffic enforcement next Thursday as the Medicine Hat Police Service and the Alberta Sheriffs Highway Patrol conduct joint traffic safety check stops across the city.
The enforcement initiative scheduled for July 30 will see members of both agencies operate check stops at various locations throughout Medicine Hat.
The initiative aims to improve road safety, encourage drivers to comply with traffic laws and educate motorists about safe driving practices.
Officers will check for valid driver’s licences, vehicle registration and insurance, seatbelt compliance, impaired driving offences and other traffic safety requirements.
