The Medicine Hat Tigers have made a pair of selections in the 2026 CHL Import Draft, addressing both forward and defense.

With the 59th overall selection, the Tabbies selected right-winger Arvid Drott out of Stockholm, SWE.

Drott played for Djurgårdens IF U20 of the Swedish U20 Nationell league.

The 6’0″, 187 lbs winger put up 25 points over 28 games while adding 12 more points in 14 playoff games.

Following the selection of Drott, the Tigers added to their blue line with the 73rd overall selection, taking 6’5″ Russian defenseman Denis Pasler.

Pasler played for AKM Tula of the MHL last season, putting up 6 points and 50 PIM’s over 49 games, while adding three points in six playoff games.

The Tigers also held the 120th and 182nd selections in the CHL Import Draft but passed on both picks as they expect the return of Yaroslav Bryzgalov, their lone selection in the 2025 CHL Import Draft.
