Liam Ruck selected 22nd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins have selected Medicine Hat Tigers forward Liam Ruck 22nd overall in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.
Liam Ruck finished 2nd in the CHL scoring race this past season, registering 45 goals, 59 assists for 104 points, only trailing his twin brother, Markus, who won the CHL’s Top Scorer Award.
Liam joins Medicine Hat Tigers alumni Gavin McKenna as a fellow 2026 first-round pick.
His twin brother Markus, remains on the board.
