Albertans asked to help shape future of Ghost-Kananaskis area
Albertans are being invited to help shape the future of the Ghost-Kananaskis region.
According to a release from the provincial government, this is phase one of engagement on the draft vision and outcomes for how land should be managed in the southern Alberta area.
Input can be given until June 5, with feedback used to form the Ghost-Kananaskis Sub-regional Plan.
The region covers 6,897 square kilometres west of Calgary, and contains rolling hills, mountains, forests and glacial valleys, with a wide range of wildlife.
