Feb 16, 2026 | 4:54 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers snapped their brief two-game losing streak with an emphatic 10-1 win over the Red Deer Rebels.

Liam Ruck tied a career-high with a five-point night while his twin brother, Markus, added four points in the win.

Noah Davidson and Kadon McCann each potted a pair of goals for the Tabbies while Kade Stengrim, Andrew Basha, Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll, and Cam Parr added singles.

Four of the Tiger goals came on the powerplay which scored on all but one opportunity on the night.

Medicine Hat Tigers 20-year-old forward Ethan Neutens left the game late in the second period with an apparent injury after taking a scary hit in the numbers that sent him face-first into the boards from Red Deer Rebels forward Kohen Lodge, who was assessed a game misconduct for the hit.

The lone Rebels goal came courtesy of the birthday boy and their captain, Talon Brigley, on a 4-on-3 powerplay.

Jordan Switzer was great in the blowout win for the Tigers, turning aside 22 of 23 Red Deer shots.

Peyton Shore had a tough night for Red Deer, allowing ten goals on 38 shots.

Medicine Hat is off until Friday night, when they head to Lethbridge to begin a home-and-home with their Highway 3 rival.
