Medicine Hat Tigers set to conclude season-series with Swift Current Broncos

Off the heels of a thrilling last-minute 2-1 victory in Swift Current Friday night, the Medicine Hat Tigers conclude their four-game regular season series against the Swift Current Broncos tonight inside Co-op Place.

Liam Ruck scored his 30th goal of the season in the dying seconds of regulation to secure the 2-1 Tabbie win and secure the Tigers at worst a split in the season series with Swift Current.

Despite the thrilling win, the story of the game was the play of Broncos rookie netminder Archer Cooke, who stopped 48 of 50 shots in the loss.

Medicine Hat enters tonight’s contest three points up on the Edmonton Oil Kings for top spot in the Central Division.

Meanwhile, the Swift Current Broncos enter 13 points out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
