Medicine Hat Tigers begin back-to-back with Swift Current Broncos

Feb 6, 2026 | 11:18 AM

The Medicine Hat Tigers begin a home-and-home with the Swift Current Broncos on the road tonight in Speedy Creek as they aim to get back in the win column following a 4-2 defeat to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Wednesday night.

Tonight marks the third meeting between the out-of-division foes, with the clubs having split the season series up to this point.

Swift Current concludes a seven-game homestand tonight against the Tabbies and hold a 3-3 record over their last six games.

Medicine Hat lost 6-3 in their lone trip to the InnovationPlex back on September 26th, 2025.

In their last meeting, the Tabbies dismantled the Broncos in a 10-2 bludgeoning.

The Tigers will look to get their powerplay back on track tonight.

Despite still sitting third overall in the Western Hockey League, the Tabbies man-advantage has gone goalless in its last eight attempts and is just one for 16 without their captain, Bryce Pickford, this season.

Puck drop from inside the InnovationPlex in Swift Current is slated for 6:00 p.m. MST.

The pre-game show gets underway at 5:45 p.m. on WILD 94.5 FM.
