Four Medicine Hat Mavericks named to WCBL All-Star teams

The Western Canadian Baseball League has announced its All-Star teams for the 2025 season, with four Medicine Hat Mavericks included.

First team honours went to infielder Carter Roth.

Third team All-Stars are infielder Tyler Vanneste, outfielder Jeremy Freeman Jr., and starting pitcher Luis Diaz.

Receiving honourable mention was Mavericks starting pitcher Xander Roberts.

Two players from the Brooks Bombers were also recognized as All-Stars.

Relief pitcher Heath Hachkowski was named to the second team, and outfielder Ben Fishel earned third team-honours.

A pair of Bombers also received honourable mentions: infielder Wyatt Ormonde and outfielder Payton Matthews.
