Rattlers win a pair of team medals at ACAC Golf Championship

The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Golf Championship finished on Tuesday in Red Deer with the Medicine Hat College Rattlers bringing home a pair of medals.

The Rattlers women took home silver in the team event with Ava Bratvold, Zoe Hodgson, and Kiara Reesor combining for 97-over-par over the three-day-event.

The Rattlers also took home bronze in the mixed team category. Rylan Hodgson, Ava Bratvold, Keelan Burzminski, Wyatt Bishop, and Kiara Reesor were included in the third place team.

Finishing in fourth place were the Rattlers mens team with a combined 60-over-par through three rounds.

Individually on the men’s side Wyatt Bishop was the top Rattlers golfer placing 10th with a 10-over-par.

Following was Rylan Hodgson taking 14th spot with a 14-over-par.

Hayden King came in at 19th with a 23-over-par.

Keelan Burzminski shot a 28-over-par to place 22nd, Issac Stehr was right behind with a 29-over-par taking 23rd spot.

Also competing for the Rattlers were Rylan Montgomery who shot a 32-over-par to place 28th, and Makhi Carriere who was 35-over-par to finish 31st.

The top women’s golfer for the Ratters was Ava Bratvold who placed fifth with a combined 47-over-par.

Not far behinds was Kiara Reesor who finished sixth with a 50-over-par.

Zoe Hodgson placed 10th with a 76-over-par.

Hayes Clark came in 18th with a 141-over par.
