The Medicine Hat Tigers announced they have signed forwards Dayton Reschny and Yaroslav Bryzgalov.

Both Bryzgalov and Reschny appeared in Saturday night’s home-opener, and both recorded assists for their first points in the WHL.

Reschny, a native of Macklin, SK, is a first cousin of Calgary Flames 2025 first-round draft pick and former Victoria Royals forward Cole Reschny.

Last season, Reschny played for the AJHL’s Bonnyville Pontiacs, recording seven goals and 21 points through 24 games played.

Bryzgalov hails from Minsk, Belarus, and was the Tigers’ lone selection in the 2025 CHL Import Draft, taking him 60th overall.

Last season, Bryzgalov played for the USHL’s Des Moines Buccaneers, appearing in 51 games while recording ten goals and 17 points.

The Tigers’ next action comes this Friday, September 26th, as they head to Swift Current to battle the Broncos in a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference quarterfinals.
