Special meeting of Medicine Hat council Monday ends without answers

A special meeting of council took place in the City of Medicine Hat Monday, called to orders at 5 p.m. and a conclusion at 7:12 p.m.

The single item listed on the agenda was a personnel matters, which was discussed in a closed session.

A pair of special meeting of council held in July with the same topic listed had resulted in City Manager Ann Mitchell being placed on a temporary paid leave.

The initial meeting at that time had also left the public unaware of what was initially discussed.

The second meeting in which the decision on Mitchell had been made was also not a publicly announced meeting.
