Medicine Hat Tigers acquire Sullivan from Blazers

The Medicine Hat Tigers having brought forward Max Sullivan in through a trade with the Kamloops Blazers.

Heading to the Blazers is a conditional 2029 eighth-round draft pick.

The 19-year-old from Calgary has played 106 WHL games with the Blazers across three seasons, with only one of those played in 2022-23.

His offensive game has grown each year with 5 points in 44 games in 2023-24, and 23 points in 61 games in 2024-25.

Tigers general manager and head coach Willie Desjardins said they are excited to get Sullivan.

β€œHe is a good young player with experience in the league that will give depth to the lineup.” Desjardins said.

Sullivan was drafted by the Blazers 87th overall in the fourth round of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.
