Brooks RCMP receive report of resident dead in alley

The Brooks RCMP released a statement late Thursday morning that they had received a report of a deceased person in the alley near Southshore Drive a day prior.

RCMP received the report Aug. 20, 2025, at approximately 6:05 p.m. and immediately attended and initiated an investigation.

The deceased is scheduled for an autopsy Thursday.

Mounties said that an update is anticipated in the near future.
