Haunted tours, baby rave: Here is what’s on this weekend in Medicine Hat

The summer weekends continue!

It will be a warm one.

Friday will bring a high of 27 C and it won’t cool down after that, according to the Environment Canada forecast.

Saturday will bring a high of 30 C and Sunday will bring 31 C.

It’s quieter weekend in the city ahead of the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede’s annual summer fair.

Here is what’s on in Medicine Hat and area this weekend.

🎃 Haunted tours

Miller’s Haunted Tours: Summer 2025 is continuing this weekend on the trolley.

Step into the shadows and ride the historic trolley through Medicine Hat’s most chilling locations, organizers say.

From eerie encounters at the old train station to ghost stories whispered in the wind at Strathcona Park, this guided tour blends history with haunting tales that will send shivers down your spine.

👶 Baby Rave

Saturday

A party for babies is taking place this weekend.

Baby Rave, for babies up to three years old, is taking place on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Medicine Hat Public Library.

Drop in and boogie with baby at the cutest dance party ever, organizers say.

There will be sensory play, bubbles, gentle lights, and beats from the Wiggles’ new Techno album at a volume perfect for tiny ears.

🚚 Food trucks

Sunday

A small food truck festival is taking place this weekend.

Pootys Poutine, Hucky Tucky, Rolled Ice Cream and Kona Ice will roll up to Kin Coulee Park for the event, according to an event page.

There will also be face painting by Katrina, live music and more.

🐎 Stampede is coming

The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede will be underway from July 23 to July 26.

New this year are pig races, a camel in the petting zoo and a return of the Cowboy Clash.
