Alberta gained 30K jobs in June, leading national growth
It was a good month for jobs in Alberta.
That is according to a new report from Statistics Canada, which says the province’s unemployment rate fell from 7.4 per cent in May to 6.8 per cent in June.
Employment increased by 30,000, thanks to the additions of 51,300 full-time positions. The number of part-time jobs fell by 21,300.
It was the second gain in jobs in the last three months.
