Canada Day in Medicine Hat was celebrated over the course of two days at Kin Coulee Park this week.

It featured a drone show, food trucks, a highly-rated skateboard competition and the obligatory fireworks.

Thousands of people filtered through the festivities — along with a few famous attendees.

The annual Beat the Heat skateboarding competition brought in athletes from across Alberta and Canada for some kick-flipping action.
