Playing five regular season games, Casey posted a 3-0-0 record with a 2.08 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.

In 15 playoff games he helped lead the Black Hawks to the USHL championship series, with a 10-3-2 record, 2.53 GAA and .918 save percentage.

Casey played internationally for Team USA at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, and represented Minnesota in the 2024 USA Hockey Boys 17 National Festival.

Tigers director of player personnel Bobby Fox gave a scouting report for the young goalie.

“Carter is a highly athletic and quick goalie. He shows excellent puck tracking and rebound control,” Fox said.

“His competitive drive shone through after being called up from high school, where he took over the crease and led his previous junior team to the championship series.”

Casey is from the same hometown as former NHL goaltender Jon Casey.

Although not the parent of Carter, CHAT News is unsure at this time if there is any family relation with Jon.
