Highway 1 westbound lanes near Dunmore reopens after motor vehicle collision

The Trans-Canada Highway near Dunmore reopened Wednesday afternoon.

Cypress County Fire Services reported to a motor vehicle collision east of the Dunmore weigh station during the noon hour on Wednesday.

That collision lead to the closure of all westbound traffic for several hours.

Detours were in place while emergency crews attended the scene.

Shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday it was confirmed that both westbound lanes traffic lanes had been re-opened.
