Pair of Brooks Bandits named BCHL stars of the week

A pair of Brooks Bandits have been honoured as British Columbia Hockey League stars of the week.

First star honours goes to forward Parker Lalonde who put up two goals and two assists for four points in two games against the Sherwood Park Crusaders last week.

Second star honours goes to forward Nick Peluso also putting up four points over two games, but with a goal and three assists.

The 21-year old Peluso from Rochester, N.Y. leads the Bandits in playoff points with 11 through seven games with five goals and six assists.

While the 21-year old Lalonde of Aberdeen, Sask. has nine points in seven playoff games including five goals and four assists.

The Bandits play game three of the Interior Conference Semifinals Tuesday in Sherwood Park, with a two game to none series lead.

Game time against the Crusaders is at 7 p.m.
