Redcliff RCMP search for missing Cypress County man

Mounties are requesting the publics assistance to help find a Cypress County man missing for over a week.

Redcliff RCMP responded to a missing person report for 38-year old Clayton Albert Peter Martens, from the Redcliff area on Saturday at approximately 1 p.m.

Martens was last seen on Jan. 14 around 10 p.m. at a residence in the area of Range Road 70 and Range Road 71 in Cypress County.

According to police, Martens had shown interest in traveling to the area of Maple Creek with an unknown mode of transportation.

Martens is described as light skin complexion, approximately 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds, a medium build, with blue eyes, short brown hair, a beard/mustache.

He has a scar above his right eye, geometric/smoky sleeve tattoo on his left arm and was last seen wearing a hoodie and jeans.

RCMP are concerned for Clayton’s safety and well-being and is requesting any community members from the area, to check their properties, sheds, or outbuildings.

The Redcliff RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the location of, or sightings of Clayton.
