Medicine Hat Tigers wrap up road trip Edmonton Friday, back at home Saturday

The Medicine Hat Tigers are into the third and final game of their road trip, taking on the Edmonton Oil Kings at Rogers Place.

Coming into the contest the Tigers hold the top spot in the Central Division standings with a record of 13 wins and 10 losses, good for 26 points.

Sitting at the bottom of the division is the Oil Kings who have nine wins, 10 losses, one overtime loss, and a shootout loss, giving them 20 points in two less games then the Tigers in a very tight five team eastern division.

Hurt during Wednesdays game in Prince Albert, Tigers goaltender Harrison Meneghin will sit on the sidelines for the contest in Edmonton.

Tigers goaltender Jordan Switzer will be making the start against his hometown team Friday night.

Goaltender Cash Christie, born in 2009, has be brought in to back up in the absence of Meneghin.

Game time tonight is 7 p.m.

Will Bryant has the radio broadcast on Wild 94.5 starting at 6:45 p.m.

The Tigers will host the Saskatoon Blades on Saturday night at Co-op Place starting at 7 p.m.

Will Bryant and Lance Doll will have that radio broadcast starting at 6:30 p.m.

As the Tigers look for revenge against the top team in Eastern Conference, after dropping a 5-3 contest to the Blades on Tuesday night.
