The second annual Medicine Hat Culture Days is on this weekend.
It runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Big Marble Go Centre.
The event features various arts and sports activities from around the world.

The Medicine Hat Tigers’ four-game pre-season campaign wraps up this weekend.
The Tigers go up against the Red Deer Rebels Friday night in a rematch of the playoff series final that saw the Hat home team knocked out.
Another rematch is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Co-op Place, when the Tigers take on the Hurricanes for the second time in the pre-season schedule.
The Tigers lost to the Hurricanes on Sept. 3 but bounced back with an at-home win against the Calgary Hitmen.

The Terry Fox Run, a national tradition for a Canadian hero, gets underway locally at Medicine Hat College on Sunday.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the run starts at 10:30 a.m.
Participants will follow a three-kilometre route along the Sunrise Rotary Trail around the college campus.
Hatters surpassed the fundraising goal of $10,000 by raising $16,174, according to the 2024 event page.

The 38th Annual Santa Claus Fund Toy Run is taking place early Saturday morning.
The event starts with a pancake breakfast at the Irvine Hotel at 9 a.m.
The ride leaves Irvine at 11:30 a.m., with a parade through town ending at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede grounds.
A minimum $5 donation gets you a burger, chips and a cold drink, according to the event page.
There will be live music, beer gardens, 50/50 and draws. It’s also a family friendly event!
Santa Claus will also be onsite collecting toys and monetary donations to help make Christmas brighter for local families, organizers say.

The German-Canadian Harmony Club is hosting its annual Polka Fest on Friday and Saturday.
It runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday at the Harmony Hall in Redcliff.
Music will be provided by the Willow Creek Band and Len Gadica.
Polka festivals often include live music, dance, food and a chance to connect with others.
The Medicine Hat rendition first kicked off in 1995 as a way to offer Hatters a chance to experience the music and culture associated with a Polka event.

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Centre is hosting a puppet show from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
It’s free to attend and open to all ages at the Nature Centre at Police Point Park.
