The Mad Hatter Comedy Club and Mad Hatter Artistry have teamed up to present the Comedy and Artistry event on Saturday.
The comedy group will hit play on the big screen with a playlist of the best retro comedy clips found on the internet, organizers say.
It runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Mad Hatter Comedy Club.

The Mom Market is putting on an Eat, Shop and Enjoy Local event at Elkwater Beach.
There will be a variety of local vendors, music and a kids craft station.

The Strathcona Island parkrun in Medicine Hat is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.
It gets underway at Saturday at 8:45 a.m. at Strathcona Island Park. It takes place on Aug. 3, which is also the fifth anniversary of the run.

The City of Medicine Hat’s Towne Square block parties continue this weekend.
Saturday’s edition of the block party will celebrate dance and culture.
The event runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. downtown.

The tours this year feature character actors for the first time as a way to bring Medicine Hat’s history to life.
