Andrew Basha had scored with 35 seconds remaining in the third period to send the game into overtime.

Red Deer now leads the best of seven series 2-1, with game four in Red Deer Wednesday night. Jesse and Lance from Wild 94.5 are also on the road with the Tigers.

The teams were tied at 1 after the first period, with the Rebels owning a 3-2 lead to start the third period.

In overtime the Tigers would be dealt a bad hand as they’d have to defend a Rebels power play but after a scramble in the crease and Samuel Drancak would hit the open net and that would seal the Tigers fate as they fall 4-3.

Game 4 goes Wednesday night at the Peavy Mart Centrium, you can catch the game on Wild 94.5 with the Voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli and Lance Doll.

Game 5 is Friday night at Co-op Place in Medicine Hat.
