Police Point Park closed to pedestrian traffic starting Monday

Police Point Park will be closed to pedestrian traffic starting Monday during maintenance on a sweet shallow gas well.

Residents and motorists will notice a temporary increase in traffic along Police Point Drive Northeast during the maintenance period, the city said in a news release.

A service rig will be on site along with other equipment, including vacuum trucks, tankard units and crew trucks.

The city has asked the public to observe a safe distance from the worksite and obey all signage, barriers and personnel.
