Medicine Hat College kicks off pharmacy technician program amid high demand
Medicine Hat College is launching a pharmacy technician program amid increasing demand across Alberta.
The first college’s first cohort for the two-year diploma program will start this fall after approval the province.
It will be the first post-secondary institution in southern Alberta to offer the training while waitlists persist at other colleges.
Provost Dr. Nancy Brown said the 20-seat program is launching to fill a need.
