Premier Smith to make investment announcement in Medicine Hat today

MEDICINE HAT — Premier Danielle Smith returns to Medicine Hat today and is scheduled to make an announcement about a new investment that will bring jobs to the region.

Smith, who is the MLA for Brooks-Medicine Hat, will be joined by Matt Jones, the minister of jobs, economy and trade, as well as Medicine Hat Mayor Linnsie Clark for the announcement that is to take place at the new S3 group facility on 18th street south west.

Richelle Andreas, the CEO for the S3 group and Rick Christiaanse, CEO for Invest Alberta Corporation will also attend the announcement.

S3 Group currently operates five facilities in three locations across North America manufacturing farm equipment and components of farm equipment that is shipped internationally.

The company is based out of Swift Current and announced it’s plans for Medicine Hat in July.
