Esplanade showing Canada’s Women’s World Cup match tonight

Soccer fans and fans of Team Canada are invited to the Esplanade tonight to watch the Canadian squad’s opening match in the FIFA Women’s World Cup on the big screen.
Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the reigning Olympic champion and seventh-ranked Canadians as they take on No. 40 Nigeria.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with a program beginning at 8 p.m. Kick-off is at 8:30 p.m. The concession will be open for snacks and bar service.
Admission to the live stream is free but attendees are asked to secure a ticket for general admission at tixx.ca. People are also encouraged to bring a donation for the Medicine Hat Women’s Society.
