Canada Day festivities

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Today many events are being held around the city to celebrate Canada’s 156th birthday.

Those looking for something to do can head down to Beat the Heat, a skateboard competition held by the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association. This is in conjunction with families-based activities at Kin Coulee Park, including performances, food trucks and bouncy castles.

Meanwhile, at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Grounds there will be live singing, family activities and a firework display at 11:00 p.m.
