MEDICINE HAT, AB – The current fundraiser by the Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation is driving donations to purchase capital equipment for the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
Foundation executive director Heather Bach says three priorities have been identified at the hospital – a specialized surgical bed for orthopedic surgery, cardiac monitors and mental health. Find a link to tickets for the raffle of a 2022 GMC Terrain SLT at ourhealthfoundation.ca.
Bach joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about the priorities and the vehicle raffle, the work the foundation does outside of raising money for local health care and health care being thrust into the spotlight during the COVID pandemic.
