Sweet sounds: Rotary Music Festival is underway

MEDICINE HAT, AB – For the next two weeks Medicine Hat College will be filled with music and melodies from some of our community’s talented singers, instrumentalists and performers.
The annual Rotary Music Festival began on Sunday and performances are scheduled for the next two weeks. Most will happen at the college and cultural centre but St. Barnabas Church will host a few performances, including the Stars of the Festival finale on March 19.
Participants will perform in categories such as speech, vocal, piano, strings and musical theatre. They all hope to be recommendations for the festival’s major prize the Rose Bowl and to advance to the provincial festival in the spring.
