MEDICINE HAT, AB — Greasy in the city, slippery outside the city.

Roads are again being impacted by the overnight snow.

Winter driving conditions continue to impact highway travel out of Medicine Hat.

511 Alberta is showing partial snow covering the Number 1 highway in both directions out of Medicine Hat.

There’s some blowing and drifting on the 41 south to Elkwater, and also north to the Golden Prairie road. From there to Hilda, the report mentions black ice and slippery sections.

There’s some icy sections reported on Highway 3 between the Hat and Bow Island, but visibility is good for the most part. The exception is from Alderson to Brooks, where poor visibility is being reported.

As always, police advise motorists to drive to the conditions.
