Alberta premier reveals cabinet picks
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has announced her new cabinet with some high-profile cabinet members staying in their roles and newcomers to the table.
Among the 24 cabinet members, Travis Toews remains President of treasury board and minister of finance, Jason Copping stays on as health minister and Adriana LaGrange keeps the education portfolio.
Smith has two deputy premiers. Kaycee Madu, also minister of skilled trades and professions, and Nathan Neudorf, who is also minister of infrastructure
New cabinet members include Brian Jean as minister of jobs, economy and northern development and Todd Loewen as minister of forestry, parks and tourism. Both ran for the United Conservative Party leadership against Smith.
