MEDICINE HAT, AB – Cautious optimism at the beginning of the tourism season became better-than-anticipated results by the end, says the executive director of Tourism Medicine Hat.
Jace Anderson says hotel occupancy in the area was high and campgrounds were lush with vibrancy and life. Restaurants and attractions welcomed back locals and visitors alike.
Anderson joined Gates Guarin on CHAT News at Noon to talk about where visitors are coming from, the economic rebound in the tourism industry and his list of fall tourism plans that is “as long as the arm.”
