Tamara Lich granted bail once again
Tamara Lich has been granted bail by an Ottawa judge who has overturned a previous bail denial.
Following a day-long bail review hearing yesterday, today Justice Andrew Goodman said, “Ms. Lich you will be released from this courthouse today.” Earlier in July, Justice of the Peace Paul Harris revoked Lich’s bail that had been granted following her initial arrest in February.
Lich, from Medicine Hat, was a central figure in the so-called “Freedom Convoy” to Ottawa in January that became an occupation and gridlocked the nation’s capital for weeks. She was initially arrested in February and granted bail weeks later.
